Day 1 : Arrival at Cádiz
The Island Sapphire arrived at our Cádiz facilities as a standard DP2 Platform Supply Vessel, featuring a 90-person accommodation, large clear deck, and reliable offshore supply configuration.
A solid platform ready to be transformed into a high-spec IMR and Walk-to-Work vessel capable of supporting subsea and maintenance operations.
Mid-Conversion – Helideck Installation
During this stage, major structural works were executed, including the installation of a 22m Helideck, the foundation for a 160 T lattice-boom crane, and the expansion of accommodation to 202 POB.
Each system was integrated under tight schedule and supervision, marking the core phase of the vessel’s 105-day evolution.
Day 105 : Project Completed
After only 105 days, the Island Sapphire was delivered as a fully upgraded IMR & W2W vessel, now equipped with:

ATHENA II Phase 1: Arrival at Cádiz
The Athena II arrived at our Cádiz facilities as an IMR vessel prepared for a full transformation into a modern Walk-to-Work unit, marking the start of a fast-track conversion program.
ATHENA II – Phase 2: Crane Removal
Removal of the 64 T offshore crane to clear deck space and prepare foundations for the upcoming Ampelmann E-type gangway system.
ATHENA II – Phase 3: Crane at Yard
The original crane safely landed at the shipyard — detailed inspection and dismantling works carried out as part of the structural modification phase.

The Athena II sails from Cádiz towards her charter with PRIO, now operating as a fully compliant W2W vessel, ready to begin her new offshore campaign.
